What the heck is Covert Hypnosis Anyway

You might be familiar with the hypnosis you see on TV or at theatre performances. You know what I mean, the kind where a hypnotist will get people to sit in a chair and then allegedly turn them into chickens, and so on.

You might frequently ask yourself “Is that real, or is the hypnotist just using actors?”. The answer is of course, that no question, it is completely real, however you might be surprised to learn that there’s a much more advanced type of hypnosis than that, a method of hypnosis that can be utilised in your day to day life on anyone without them being aware of it. And this form of hypnosis is known as “covert hypnosis”.

It makes sense that if a hypnotist can hypnotize people at a public performance, then likewise he’d be able to do it off the stage too, when the subject isn’t aware of what’s happening? The answer is naturally that absolutely, a trained hypnotist can do exactly that. You see, performance hypnosis is the only form of hypnosis that you are openly exposedexposed to. Covert hypnosis, since it is discreet, is a type of hypnosis you will never have been aware of, nor will you see it on TV. Covert hypnosis is naturally, by its very nature… covert.

This is the type of hypnosis that political leaders, faith healers, mentalists, illusionists, even psychics use in order to hypnotizebrain wash many people into doing things, or believing certain things. Covert hypnosis is employed by professionals each and every day to make people fall in love, to bring them into fictitious belief systems, to make them give up their net worth, and many other extraordinary things.

The powers of covert hypnosis are practically infinite, and once this discipline is mastered, a lot of things suddenly become possible. But how does it work in practice? Covert hypnosis works by acting upon a person’s subconscious mind independently of the person’s conscious awareness. Whenever we’re consciously aware of a suggestion, we cannot be hypnotized by it. The reason for this is our conscious mind contains a critical part to it, which continuously examines everything that passes through it.

If our conscious mind were to become aware of any information, or suggestion that was unsavoury or disagreeable to it, then it would immediately reject it. For example, if I suggested to you right now “you will raise your right hand”, you probably wouldn’t, since I’m giving an instruction to your consciousness. If, on the other hand, I apply subtle suggestions within your mind, then trigger thosethese suggestions subconsciously, without you being consciously aware of it, then it becomes quite possible for me to make you bring up your right hand.

Clearly then, by its very nature, covert hypnosis is not obvious. The only real way to tell if someone is employing covert hypnosis on you is to develop the knowledge yourself.
